The Carbonit Monoblock® is a baked block filter, produced through a sintering process, internationally patented, multiple award-winning, and scientifically recognized. The standardized 20-inch Carbonit Monoblock NFP Select has a filtration fineness of 10 µm absolute. It features a flat seal (SOE) with an O-ring. Activated carbon filters are capable of removing organic substances (humus, algae, fungi), concentrated chemicals (chlorine, trihalomethanes, fluorides), heavy metals, as well as microscopic organic contaminants (pesticides, herbicides). Traditionally, activated carbon is used in many processes within the chemical industry. Due to its high adsorptive properties, it is primarily employed in the purification of exhaust air, drinking water, wastewater, as well as in food technology, pharmaceuticals, and chemistry.

Service Life, Maintenance, Filter Change:

The recommended service life is 6 months across Europe. During this period, up to 10,000 liters of water can be filtered. An earlier change may be necessary if the water flow is noticeably reduced; this is not a defect of the filter but an indication of increased fine particles in the unfiltered water.

Reports confirm that with proper use, microbial growth or breakthrough of the filter cartridge (chromatography effect) cannot be detected.

Warnings:

• The use of the filter is only permitted for cold water due to technical reasons.
• Protect from frost.
• Recommended filter change every 6 months; filter cartridges are consumables.
