Carbonit DUO HPS Limescale serial (-POU Ion Exchanger-)

Application

Chemical lime treatment by ion exchange – lime (carbonate hardness) is actually removed. A 2-patron under-sink unit with a separate faucet for serial post-treatment of water, e.g., in the kitchen or bathroom. Activated carbon filtration to remove potential dissolved organic contaminants from the environment and/or heavy metals from the home installation. Membrane filtration for reliable retention of pathogenic microorganisms. Softening to remove lime.

In softening, unlike decarbonization (jug filters), the pH is not lowered. This is a so-called neutral ion exchange.

Execution

The DUO HPS Kalk system is terminated as a take-off from the cold-water line (for separate drinking water extraction). Installation-ready filter devices for under-sink installation. As a 2-patron system with a serial patron arrangement for filtration tasks, with sequentially flowing patrons. Primary use: under-sink, for kitchen and bathroom; also suitable for commercial use.

Unit for installation under the basin. Both devices include a separate water tap. The device block and the coupling ring consists of polymethelene oxide, the see-through casing is made of grilamid.

Output

Ca. 120 liter per hour at a water pressure of 4 bar and a water temperature of 10°C. For removal of contaminants, see the Data Sheet for filter cartridges.

Filter unit without connections (WxHxD): 28 x 30 x 15cm; Length of the flexible hoses: 2 pieces, each ca. 80 cm; 1 flexible hose of ca. 30 cm and a small water tap.

Temperature: For technical reasons, only for use with cold water, protect from freezing.

Scope of delivery

Complete filter units with extensive installation material (tee connector, globe shut-off valve, flexible hoses, threaded joints, rapid couplings, gaskets. Carbonit Monoblock filter cartridges are included.

Note on the faucet option

Standard delivery is without a faucet for all Carbonit DUO under-sink systems; however, via the variant selection you have the option to order the water filtration unit with the WS8 inox stainless steel faucet set
