Carbonit IFP Puro Filter Cartridges
The Carbonit IFP Puro filter cartridge is a highly developed product based on natural activated carbon. This porous structure provides an extremely large internal surface area capable of effectively binding chemical compounds and molecules. Activated carbon is traditionally used in the chemical industry and has proven to be highly effective in purifying exhaust air, drinking water, and wastewater, as well as in food technology, pharmaceuticals, and chemistry.

Renowned institutes confirm the thorough, chemical-free removal of unwanted substances such as heavy metals, pharmaceutical residues, pesticides, microorganisms, as well as lime and rust particles. Valuable dissolved minerals remain in the water.

Usage Duration & Maintennance

The recommended lifespan is 6 months across Europe. In addition to the specifications of DIN 1988, the epdwa guidelines, HKI recommendations, as well as findings from various DIN standards (NAL LH/AK HW 0029) and DIN EN 14898 along with DVGW worksheet W 513 must be considered.

In general, up to 10,000 liters of water can be filtered within the 6-month period. However, an earlier replacement may be necessary if the water flow is noticeably reduced. An early change is not a defect of the filter used but an indication of increased fine particles in the unfiltered water. Reports confirm that with proper use, contamination or breakthrough of the filter cartridge (chromatography effect) cannot be detected.

Warnings

For technical reasons, use is only permitted with cold water; protect from frost. Recommended filter change every 6 months. Filter cartridges are consumables.

Tritan Water Bottle

The included Tritan water bottle is made from innovative phthalate-free copolyester Tritan™, which contains no Bisphenol A. This taste- and odor-neutral plastic is lightweight, heat-resistant, and durable—perfect for on-the-go!

Important Usage Notes

Empty and clean the bottle after each use and protect it from direct sunlight during storage. It is recommended to hand wash the Tritan bottle to extend its durability. Regularly check the condition of the bottles; if visible cracks or cloudiness appear, the bottle should be replaced.
