Central filter system (4-cartridge unit in parallel configuration) for the whole house and for high flow rates. House entry filter for use with sintered activated carbon block filters of type WFP Select / WFP Select-L (finely 10 µm). From the start, ensures good water quality and protects the piping.

To ensure the water comes as clean from the tap as the water supplier sends it on its journey, a filter may retain micro-particles that may have been released during works on the drinking water network. Furthermore, the precious moisture ages during its journey through long distances and stagnation.

Device for installation in the central water line after the water meter. The WFP filters installed by the factory remove chlorine, organic compounds and particles. Sediment filter according to DIN 19632 prevents the entry of foreign particles and the resulting pitting and corrosion (corrosion protection).

The QUADRO 120 units have four twice-longer filter cartridges CARBONIT Monoblock WFP Select-L. Without cartridges and without hoses. Cartridges WFP Select-L or WFP Special-L are recommended.

Complete central filter system QUADRO 120 with wall mounting and manometers for special water capacities and typically used with four CARBONIT Monoblock WFP Select. Standard 1 devices have a 1" connection; standard 2 devices come with two connection hoses 800 mm long (3/4" union nut). The attractive design allows use in viewable areas. Please specify with order whether water flows through the device from left or right. Without cartridges and without hoses.

For QUADRO 120, special filter cartridges can be supplied on request. As a later replacement, VFS cartridges (textile filter VFS 09/FFF-C1) with adapter can also be supplied.

Equipment

The device block is made of POM (Hostaform C 2571), the filter cylinders of CrNiMo stainless steel (1.4541). Capacity QUADRO 120 up to 8 m³ of water per hour.

The individual components are tested according to DVGW guidelines and DIN EN 14898 and are made from food-grade materials. All housing materials meet the KTW recommendations for cold water and positive lists through high-quality plastics.

Warnings

The stainless steel material used, austenitic 1.4541 (X6CrNiTi18-10), is generally regarded as corrosion resistant to aqueous solutions with moderate chloride content of 100 mg/l at room temperature (steel group 1). For very high salinity, avoid brass fittings where possible – only stainless steel is suitable. A claim for replacement due to improper use cannot be derived from these notes.

If seawater resistance is required, other stainless steels can be used, such as ferritic (magnetic) 1.4521 (X2CrMoTi18-2) or a protective coating.

Installation of a house entry filter should be carried out by a professional.

Any liability due to improper use is excluded.

Maintenance and filter change

The filter change is performed with the included key on a semi-annual basis. Be sure to relieve the pressure beforehand, otherwise the housing cannot be opened. On the water inlet side, biofilm may form, which must be removed during regular filter changes.

The filter cartridges and the flexible hoses are wearing parts.
