Zentrale filter system (4-cartridge unit in parallel configuration) for the whole house and for high flow rates. House inlet filter for use with sintered activated carbon block filters of type WFP Select / WFP Select-L (finely filtered to 10 µm). From the outset it ensures good water quality and protects the piping.

To ensure the water comes from the tap as clean as the supplier sends it on its journey, a filter may retain micro-particles released during work on the drinking water network. In addition, the precious moisture ages as it travels long distances and stagnates.

Unit for installation in the central water line after the water meter. The WFP cartridges installed by the factory primarily remove chlorine, organic compounds, and particulates. A dirt filter according to DIN 19632 prevents the ingress of external particles and the resulting pitting and tuberculation (corrosion protection).

Complete systems

QUADRO 60 central filter installation with wall mounting and pressure gauges for special water performances, typically used with four CARBONIT Monoblock WFP Select cartridges. The standard 1-unit devices have a 1" union; in standard 2-unit devices, two connection hoses of 800 mm (3/4" union nut) are included. The attractive design allows installation in visible areas. Please indicate with your order whether the water flows through the device from the left or the right. Without cartridges and without hoses. The cartridges WFP Select or WFP Special are recommended.

For the QUADRO 60, special filter cartridges can be supplied on request. As a later replacement, VFS cartridges (textile filter VFS 09/FFF-C1) with adapter can also be supplied.

Equipment

The device block consists of POM (Hostaform C 2571), the filter cylinders made of CrNiMo stainless steel (1.4541). Performance QUADRO 60 up to 4 m² of water per hour.

The individual components are tested according to the guidelines of the DVGW as well as DIN EN 14898 and are made from food-grade materials. All housing materials meet the KTW recommendations for cold water and positive lists through high-quality plastics.

Warnings

The stainless steel material used, austenitic 1.4541 (X6CrNiTi18-10), is generally regarded as corrosion-resistant to aqueous solutions with a moderate chloride content of 100 mg/l (at room temperature) (steel group 1). In case of very high salinity, avoid brass fittings—only stainless steel is suitable. A claim for replacement due to improper use cannot be derived from these notes.

If seawater resistance is required, other steels can be used, such as ferritic (magnetic) 1.4521 (X2CrMoTi18-2) or a protective coating.

The installation of a house inlet filter should be performed by a professional.

Any liability due to improper use is excluded.

Maintenance and cartridge replacement

Cartridge replacement is performed with the included key on a semi-annual basis. It is essential to relieve pressure beforehand; otherwise the housing cannot be opened. On the water inlet side, biofilm may form, which must be removed during regular cartridge changes.

The filter cartridges and the flexible hoses are wear parts.
