New cartridge design (as a regenerable variant or disposable variant)

Description

• Water cleaner through ion exchange for drinking purposes (not for domestic process water) in connection with DUO-HP lime for softening (total hardness), DUO-HP Basic S (for all other ion exchange resins) or in the VARIO-HP, can also be used in devices from other manufacturers (please note the drawing).
• The cartridge is empty, ion exchange resins in the refill pack must be ordered separately
• Substance removal via granules / resins
• Length 9 3/4", max. outside diameter 76 mm
• depending on the type of resin, reduction in hardness, nitrate or fluoride content

Performance

• Depending on the substance concentration of the input water and the resin type, see the operating instructions for the ion exchange resin refill pack
• After the end of the service life, the resin can be disposed of with household waste
• For reasons of hygiene, we recommend changing the resin at least every six months and replacing the refill cartridge every two years
• a flow limitation is recommended, value depending on the resin type (see operating instructions) - higher flow rates are possible, but reduce the withdrawal capacity
• The flow can be limited by adjusting the ball valve (see operating instructions) or by using a flow regulator (see spare parts and accessories).

Instructions for use

• Use only with cold water, protect against frost
• Measurement of the concentration of the substance to be removed using measuring sticks or titration sets (more precisely). Note: use measuring technology depending on the granules (see operating instructions)
• Measuring technology available in the aquarium trade (e.g. brands JBL, Tetra, Sera, ...) or according to the instructions in the operating instructions
