Coarse filter G3 with bypass, alternative

This filter set is suitable for Westaflex central units 300WAC & 400WAC (see photo), as well as Vaillant central ventilation unit recoVAIR VAR 275 & recoVAIR VAR 350 Alternative to Westaflex G3 coarse filter with item no .: 400FILT001 and item no .: 400FILT002 for EXTERNAL & EXHAUST AIR, PU = 2 pieces (HxWxL / D): 240x180x390 mm and for bypass flap, PU = 1 piece HxWxL / D: 24x135x175 mm. 

Filters against dirt are an integral part of a WAC system. They remove particles and allergenic substances from the outside air and prevent dust in the exhaust air areas (bathroom, kitchen) from contaminating the pipe system. The filters must of course be changed from time to time. Depending on the number of residents and their usage behavior, a change every 6 months (VDI 6022 - is required by law) can be expected. This is not only very important for hygienic reasons. A used filter also reduces the efficiency of the entire system and increases power consumption. Benefits of regular filter maintenance - Regular checking and, if necessary, replacement of the filters ensures optimal system settings and ensures low power consumption. - By using filters in the central unit (filtering the outside and exhaust air) and in the exhaust air valves (filtering the exhaust air), contamination of the sewer network is not possible at all! 

Only such a multi-stage filtration enables an optimal air supply and a special protection of the pipelines against possible deposits. In addition, many systems have cleaning openings (inspection openings) for the pipelines, should dirt ever get into the system.
