Filters against dirt are an integral part of a WAC system. They remove particles and allergenic substances from the outside air and prevent dust in the exhaust air areas (bathroom, kitchen) from contaminating the pipe system.

The filters must of course be changed from time to time. Depending on the number of residents and their usage behavior, a change every 6 months (VDI 6022 - is required by law) can be expected.
