Filters against dirt are an essential component of a WAC system. They remove particles and allergenic substances from the outdoor air, preventing dust from contaminating the exhaust areas (bathroom, kitchen) and the duct system. The filters must be replaced periodically. Depending on the number of occupants and their usage behavior, a change every 6 months (VDI 6022 - legally required) is to be expected.
