AquaKalko mini - Biological chemical-free lime protection for the coffee machine and kettle.
For use in the coffee machine or kettle. Also protects the machine's technology and heating elements from limescale. Durability approximately 6 months. Monthly disinfection of Kalko Innova mini recommended when used in the coffee machine (briefly immerse in water at a minimum of 70°C, see DVGW data sheet W 551).
For use in the coffee machine: Attach the pad with the thread to the top of the water tank and hang it in the tank so that the coffee/tea water fully wets the pad, possibly shorten to a suitable length and tie a knot. The AquaKalko mini works maintenance-free and must be thermally disinfected monthly to prevent germ formation. To do this, place the AK mini in hot water at 70°C for about 15 minutes or boil it once in the kettle.
For use in the kettle: Attach the AquaKalko mini with the thread to the water tank and hang it in the kettle so that the coffee/tea water fully wets the pad, but the pad does not touch the bottom. When the water in the kettle is heated, do not completely empty the kettle, but leave about 1 cm of water. This prevents the remaining water from evaporating on the hot bottom of the kettle and residues of lime crystals from being burnt onto the bottom as gypsum due to residual heat of about 130°C. The thermal disinfection occurs automatically with this usage.
