Merlin plus (PRF-RO) Reverse Osmosis System
The Merlin plus (PRF-RO) reverse osmosis system offers an impressive capacity of approximately 2,000 liters per day and operates without a booster pump, directly utilizing the water supply pressure of 3 to 4 bar. Equipped with two high flow RO membranes and a combination pre-filter (activated carbon/fine filter), it ensures a salt rejection rate of about 90 to 95%.
The reverse osmosis system is designed for installation under the sink or washbasin. The installation location in the cabinet is flexible, as long as no pressure is applied to the angle connections. The outlet faucet for the permeate produced by the RO system will be installed at the washbasin or on the countertop next to it.
This energy-free reverse osmosis system produces up to 1.5 liters of
osmotic water per minute without the need for a water tank. It generates
up to 67% pure drinking water, with a ratio of permeate (pure water) to
concentrate (wastewater) at 2:1.
Filtration occurs in three stages:
- Stage: Sediment pre-filter or activated carbon block pre-filter / combination pre-filter
- Stage: Two membranes operating in parallel (2x350 GPD)
- Stage: Activated carbon post-filter
