Whether swimming or participating in other water sports, these activities require up to 12 times more energy than movements on land, making them particularly effective for muscle building. Additionally, strong jets of water can provide a similar effect to an anti-cellulite massage, helping to keep the buttocks firm.

Lastly, research from the University of California shows that people who drink more than five glasses of water daily can reduce their risk of heart disease by 41%. The risk of colon and bladder cancer is also lowered because the contact time between carcinogens and organs is reduced. And don’t forget about the important role of water in digestion!
