Today we would like to tell you about our customer from Osnabrück and describe her experience with the Carbonit water filter.
Lisa Becker has always had mixed feelings about the tap water in her household. On the one hand, it is considered one of the most closely monitored foodstuffs, but on the other, negative headlines keep cropping up. The 34-year-old mother recently decided to install a Carbonit water filter. Until then, lugging crates of water around was part of her daily routine, as was the case in many other German households. Lisa lives in Osnabrück with her partner and their two daughters, Emma (5) and Mia (2). She says: "The temptation to drink the tap water straight away was great. But occasional discolorations in the water always made us feel uneasy." Especially out of consideration for the health of her young children, she didn't want to take any risks. So, week after week, crates of water were carried through the apartment – all the way to the top floor of her elevator-free building.
The situation was further complicated by the fact that she consciously avoided PET bottles and instead bought mineral water in glass bottles. Looking back, Lisa says: "We quickly realized that this couldn't be a permanent solution. We needed a safe and reliable solution for drinking water that would be available to us at all times – and of course, it should also taste good."
She began researching online, reading a lot about filter technologies and manufacturers, talking with friends and acquaintances, and visiting our water store for advice. She ultimately decided on a Carbonit device – the Vario Classic with a separate faucet and the proven NFP Premium filter cartridge. "It was important to us that many contaminants were filtered out, while at the same time preserving important minerals in the water," explains Lisa. The fact that the flow is a bit slower than with a regular faucet didn't bother her: "It was unusual at first, but for filtered water, it can take a little longer."
Her expectations regarding the quality and practicality of the filter were confirmed: "As soon as I unpacked it, I noticed the high-quality materials of the device."
Meanwhile, daughter Emma also naturally fills her glass of water from the separate faucet in the kitchen. Lisa is certain: "The filter was an absolutely worthwhile investment. Constantly having to lug crates of water is a thing of the past – it's much more convenient in everyday life." The family also drinks more water now than before, which is also beneficial to their health.
