Two-Stage Sediment Filter from Pentek for Extended Lifespan

The two-stage sediment filter from Pentek ensures optimal pre-filtration, as the filtration occurs in multiple steps. It is ideal for use in the home entrance area or directly behind the water pump of your own well. The water is effectively freed from suspended particles such as rust and other contaminants.

In the outer layer, which is approximately 5 cm thick, all particles larger than 25 μm are initially captured. The inner layer contains an additional filter fleece with a thickness of about 5 cm and a filter density of 1 μm. This design prevents the filter from clogging as quickly compared to conventional sediment filters.

The subsequent activated carbon filter cartridges are optimally protected by the second filter fleece with 1 μm, which can significantly extend the lifespan of the main filter cartridge.
