Applications
The filter cartridge is designed for filtration of well water, water from open bodies of water, and water where contamination with viruses and bacteria cannot be ruled out.
Description
The IFP VS combines the advantages of a sintered activated carbon monoblock with the patented electro-adsorption technology of the Ahlstrom-Munksjö disruptor fleece. The outer activated carbon block, with a fineness of 2.5 µm, adsorbs many dissolved contaminants and filters particulates. The internal disruptor fleece eliminates viruses, bacteria, and their degradation products.

Performance
- Filtration fineness: activated carbon block 2.5 µm; viruses fleece 1.2 µm
- Flow rate: approx. 15 l/min (at 4 bar, after a ~5-minute initial run-in)
Lifespan / Replacement
- Recommended replacement after 6 months of use or after filtering 5,000 L of water, whichever comes first.
- An earlier replacement may be necessary if the water flow is significantly reduced—this is not a defect, but an indication of high particulate load in the untreated water.
