The Carbonit GFP P200 is an innovative activated carbon filter cartridge, specially designed for use in kitchens and bathrooms. It combines sintered activated carbon blocks with the patented iA technology integrated into the P200 resin mixture to ensure highly effective removal of PFAS (Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances) from drinking water — below the detection limit.

Protection Against Persistent Chemicals in Water

Over 4,700 PFAS chemicals include per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS), which are widespread worldwide and manufactured by humans. These chemicals accumulate over time both in the human body and in the environment. Due to their durability, they are often called “Eternal Chemicals.” Some PFAS can pose health risks. The new CARBONIT combined cartridges merge sintered activated carbon with the patented iA technology in the P200 resin mixture. This specially developed blend of resin and absorber material enhances the retention capacity of the activated carbon block filters and enables targeted removal of both short- and long-chain PFAS from aqueous media. The EPA’s recommended limits of 4 ppt for PFOA and PFOS are reliably met.
