Product information "Carbonit Duo HPS Special"

The DUO Special is equipped with a textile pre-filter of 10 µm and a following NFP Premium cartridge. Designed for water treatment with higher loads of turbidity.

DUO Special is for use where the water has very high levels of contaminants.

The DUO Special is a Point-of-Use (POU) System as a plumbed-in solution between the angle globe valve (cold-water supply) and the fittings, which are already installed - and then all your cold water is filtered. Directs filtered water through the existing sink faucet. Water filtration in the kitchen for generating cleaned drinking water, for use even in the presence of high concentrations of lead and copper. Highly suitable for the preparation of beverages, cooking water, etc. Healthy drinking water without annoying odour or bad taste. No removal of life-essential minerals.

Technical Data

Model: Unit for installation under the sink. DUO Comfort is installed between the angle globe valve and the fittings which are already installed. The device block and the coupling ring consists of polymethelene oxide, the see-through casing is made of grilamid.

Filter used

CARBONIT® Monoblock NFP Premium filter cartridge, DUO Special with additional prefiltration cartridge (fine filtration cartridge).

Output

Ca. 120 liters per hour with a water pressure of 4 bar and a water temperature of 10°C. For removal of contaminants, see sheets for NFP

Dimensions

Filter unit without connections (WxHxD): 28x30x15cm; Length of the hoses: 2 pieces, each ca. 80 cm, DUO Comfort contains in addition 1 flexible hose of ca. 30 cm as well as a small water tap.

Temperature

For technical reasons, only for use with cold water, protect from freezing.

Scope of delivery

Complete filter units with extensive installation material (tee connector, globe shut-off valve, flexible hoses, threaded joints, rapid couplings, gaskets. CARBONIT Monoblock filter cartridges are included.

Note on the faucet option:

Standard delivery is without a faucet for all Carbonit DUO under-sink systems; however, via the variant selection you have the option to order the water filtration unit with the WS8 inox stainless steel faucet set.
