AQUAPHOR PRO 2 water filter cartridge – activated carbon block with AQUALEN® technology for fine filtration down to 2 µm

The AQUAPHOR PRO 2 water filter cartridge is a high-performance fine filter stage for drinking water filter systems of the AQUAPHOR PRO series. It was specially developed as a second filtration stage and provides additional water purification after pre-filtration.

The cartridge combines a highly compressed CarbFiber activated carbon block made from coconut shells with the patented AQUALEN® ion exchange fiber. This effectively reduces chlorine, organochlorine compounds, heavy metals, organic contaminants, and unwanted tastes and odors.

The dense filter structure enables the filtration of particles down to 2 microns and noticeably improves water quality. At the same time, the modified AQUALEN® fibers ensure even water distribution within the filter medium, thus increasing filtration efficiency.

The integrated Isotropic Adsorption Matrix (IAM) ensures that the water flows evenly through the entire filter material. This maximizes the contact time with the filter medium and significantly improves filtration performance.

Additionally, the DFS technology (Dynamic Fixation of Silver) protects the filter from microbial contamination by securely binding silver ions in the AQUALEN® fibers.

Thanks to the CLICK-TURN system, the cartridge can be replaced quickly and hygienically without tools. Regular replacement, at least every 6 months, ensures consistently high water quality.
