Prevents surface film and cloudiness in tea. Enjoy drinking tea without bitter after-taste in naturally modified water. Reduces water hardness and avoids calcium build-up.
The water hardness can result in a tea film or spoiled Espresso Crema. More or less due to an over-supply of minerals these problems might occur.
Place a Bellima fan together with about 1 litre of CARBONIT filtered tap water into the kettle and allow to boil. Use boiling water in the usual way.
Bellima water-fans contain CARBION C, a product manufactured by careful phosphorylation and carabamidation of cellulose fibre according to a patented process with ion-exchanging characteristics. It brings back the full flavour of hot drinks ? especially tea and coffee.
Bellima removes water hardness and adds traces of minerals such as potassium and citrate. The patented cellulose has been approved under regulation XXXVI/1 "Filters for boiling water" by the German Institute for Risk Management.
The Bellima Bag is put into the water (1 bag for 1 liter) and boiled. Unlike the typical Jug Filter no silver is being added ? the one-time-usage avoids bacteriological contamination. The ion-exchange process gives back Magnesium into the filtrate. The water-fan is environmentally friendly (biodegradable).
