NFP Clario LE (-carbon block membrane DUO / VARIO / SanUNO-)

The NFP Clario LE incorporate a capillary membrane which reduces bacteria and parasites (i.e. Cryptosporidium, Giardia), and a fine sintered carbon pre-filter block to eliminate unpleasant chemical substances, as well as, unwanted taste and odours. The carbon pre-filter block also removes sediment and chlorine which extends the membrane life and so increases the life of the whole filter.

The CARBONIT Monoblock NFP Clario LE combines a sintered carbon shell with X-Flow capillary microfiltration membranes helical wound in a 2-step filtration process. In this combination the water flow resistance is reduced significantly without loosing purification power. During the first step the carbon block significantly reduces harmful chemicals and eliminates unwanted tastes and odours from the water. Subsequently, pathogenic micro-organisms and other waterborne particles are filtered by the microfiltration membranes. Does not remove beneficial minerals. The capacity of the cartridge is about 5000 liters.

Over the last few years, X-Flow membranes have been used successfully in the world´s most advanced water purification plants. The capillary microfiltration membranes work as a fine sieve on which the micro-organisms remain. Sterile water (reduction of all bacteria) due to micro filtration cartridge (0.15 µm absolute, log 8 reduction) and therefore remove bacteria and protozoa (over 99.9999 % - tested with E. coli and Pseudomomonas Diminuta bacteria). Each X-Flow membrane cartridge is individually tested for its effectiveness.

The NFP Clario LE is single-open-end (SOE) filter cartridge with minimal pressure requirements and an unparalled removal of micro-organisms. Tested according to European Standards (KTW, DVGW W 270) and according to American Standard ANSI/NSF 61 (Drinking Water System Components - Health Effects). Internationally patented. These CARBONIT cartridges fulfill the epdwa requirements of a one micron nominal performance and an expected change at least every six months. In fact the NFP Clario LE has a filter fineness of 0,15 µm (micron) absolute.

This dual-stage cartridge is able to handle demanding installations such as hospitals and healthcare locations. It also offers a higher flow compared to carbon block only cartridges.

CARBONIT cartridges are in direct contact with the foodstuff water. An eleborate process of choosing our raw materials and of the production itself is necessary. Each carbon block is individually signed by laser mark to allow a close documentation of the whole cartridge life.

The environmetally friendly concept of a filter cartridge in a high-pressure housing (drop-in filter) is always accompanied by a set of new gaskets and O-rings to ensure leakage-free filtration.

And because we don't add any chemical substances (i.e. silver, heavy metal adsorbents) to it you know you are getting what nature intended - water as if from your own spring.
